EFFECTIVENESS OF LEAFLET MEDIA ON KNOWLEDGE AND ATTITUDE OF PREGNANT WOMEN IN PREVENTION EFFORTS OF ANEMIA IN PUSKESMAS LOA IPUH TENGGARONG

Abstract / Deskripsi:
Introduction : Anemia is a condition in which a reduction of red blood cells (erythrocytes) in circulating blood or hemoglobin mass that can not fulfill its function as a carrier of oxygen to all tissues. Objective : To determine the effectiveness of Media Leaflet Against Knowledge and Attitude On Pregnant Women In Anemia Prevention Efforts at health centers Ipuh Tenggarong Loa. Methods: The study design of experiments with pre draft experimental designs and sampling method used was total sampling. The sample in this study as many as 52 respondents, data were collected using a questionnaire to the knowledge and attitudes about the prevention of anemia in pregnant women. Results: Based on the research that has been done by Wilcoxon Sign Rank Test Probability values obtained value for knowledge was 0,035 and for the attitude is 0.000. Probability Value obtained smaller than the error rate (α = 5%), so that the effectiveness of the media known to have a leaflet on knowledge and attitudes in the prevention of anemia in pregnant women. Conclusion: There is an increased knowledge and attitudes before and after the media Leaflet.
